This project is being constructed
at the UW Friday Harbor Campus, in conjunction with Quantum Construction,
Inc. It consists of two phases:
- Phase One: Replace/ retrofit an existing 400 amp 120/208v electrical
service with a new generator and automatic transfer switch. The
service supplies power to a seawater pumping station feeding
the laboratory buildings with a constant flow of salt water
- Phase Two: Replace an existing 600 amp 120/208v electrical
service feeding the main lab buildings on campus. The new service
is also equipped with an automatic transfer switch and generator.

| This mammoth 43,525 square foot, three-story,
mixed-use commercial building is new. It's being built over an existing
concrete parking garage overlooking the scenic Bellingham Marina.
The Port of Bellingham is actively revitalizing the marina area:
they have several projects under construction concurrently. |

| This project involves the upgrade of
the electrical service at the Mount Vernon facility to accomodate
new grinding operations. The building currently has a 600 amp 120/208
volt service. When completed the new service will supply 3000 amps
of 480 volt service and 1200 amps of 208 volt service. |
